The Sales Executive for the Security division in Mombasa is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within targeted segments. The role involves implementing the company's sales strategy, conducting security surveys to tailor solutions for clients, and building long-term professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify prospective clients within targeted segments and utilize the Sales Force automation platform.
Implement company Sales strategy/Plan and ensure strict adherence to sales procedures.
Conduct security surveys to determine clients’ requirements and prepare client-focused proposals in liaison with the Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, Branch Manager, and Technical Manager.
Observe correct pricing of products in liaison with the Finance department.
Conduct Credit checks for all new clients prior to onboarding.
Ensure all documents are signed and presented prior to service commencement.
Embrace cost control measures within the sales process.
Follow up on prospects and document feedback diligently.
Support the tender team with relevant information and attend briefing sessions.
Embrace Business Development related ESG initiatives.
Participate in marketing activities to promote brand awareness.
Present customized solutions to clients based on their specific needs.
Gather Market intelligence on business growth related areas, competitor analysis, and diversification.
Promote the company’s products and services to prospective customers.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Degree in a relevant field.
Experience: 3 years’ experience with proven results in a busy business development environment.
Training: Preferred professional training in sales & marketing.
Skills: Exceptional communication skills; committed, resourceful, results-oriented, and self-driven. Customer-focused with strong initiative, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and presentation skills.
