Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Executive who will play a vital role in driving sales growth and market penetration within the assigned county by promoting the company’s products and services. The role involves delivering set county revenue targets, managing key distributor accounts and market growth within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Market Visits: Conduct daily visits to hardware stores, distributors, contractors, and construction sites.
Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned county.
Sales Execution: Generate orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure completion.
Debt Management: Collect outstanding debt and maintain strong credit discipline.
Market Research: Provide market intelligence on competitor products and pricing to stay competitive.
Performance Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, architects, and distributors.
Customer Support: Provide product information, technical guidance, and after-sales support to clients.
Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports; maintain an updated sales pipeline and client database.
Marketing Support: Support local marketing campaigns, activations, and product promotions within the county.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing - building materials industry, marketing, training, or a related role.
Skills: Strong negotiation, business development, strategic planning, and market analysis skills.
Attributes: Results-driven and target-oriented mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
