Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Field Sales Representative who will play a vital role in managing, generating sales, developing client relationships, and expanding market coverage through active field visits within the assigned territory. The role involves promoting the company’s products, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring consistent customer engagement with retail customers.
Key Responsibilities
Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Promote and sell the company’s products to retailers.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to convert prospects into clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Provide product demonstrations and explain product benefits to clients.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Coordinate with dispatch, logistics, and production teams for timely delivery.
Follow up on deliveries and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing within the territory.
Provide regular feedback on customer needs and market demand.
Maintain updated records of client visits, leads, and sales performance.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Promote the company’s products through field marketing and activations.
Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
Distribute marketing materials such as brochures and catalogs to clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 years’ experience in field sales, preferably in manufacturing, building materials, concrete and paving or related industry.
Strong selling and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in the field.
Good time management and route planning skills.
Customer-focused and results-driven.
Problem-solving and adaptability.
