As an Account Manager at Glovo, you will be responsible for building and developing the most relevant partnerships with the biggest accounts in Kenya. This is a unique role that requires a blend of business data analytics skills along with a strong sense of relationship management to drive long-term growth and profitability strategy for both your partners and Glovo.
Responsibilities
Partner Support: Grasp the objectives and hurdles of Partners to offer insightful advice and assistance.
Growth & Profitability: Work with data to enhance growth and profitability for both Partners and Glovo.
Strategic Planning: Define and pursue the long-term strategy for the country in terms of Growth, Promotions, Advertisement, and Operations.
Revenue Generation: Improve Glovo’s revenue through commission renegotiation and selling assets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside various internal departments (Operations, Marketing, Corporate, Customer service) to create and apply tailored solutions that address the needs of Partners.
Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Experience: 2+ years in Account Management and core business development. Experience in a startup, top consulting firm, or top tech company is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is mandatory; knowledge of other data analysis tools is beneficial.
Soft Skills: Persuasive communication style with the ability to sell value-added services to Partners; strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
