The Regional Mentor role involves training, mentoring, and assisting field-based staff and agents within the assigned region. This position is crucial for developing and delivering impactful training programs, ensuring staff competence in using technology-based tools, and driving consistent, data-guided learning performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Regional Mentor is expected to:
- Deliver classroom and/or field training sessions.
- Maintain set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieve required training targets.
- Design training assessments under the guidance of the Zonal Training Manager.
- Ensure 100% adoption and usage of technology-based work tools by all field staff.
- Drive consistent and accelerated learning performance utilizing data tools.
- Ensure timely communication of policies, training updates, and changes to the relevant departments.
- Collect and provide feedback on the implementation of new tools, products, and processes.
- Run and administer knowledge-based platforms.
- Steer engagement and lesson completion within the learning management system (LMS).
- Induct and mentor field-based staff.
- Assist in the development and improvement of training materials and concepts.
Qualifications and Attributes
You might be a strong candidate if you meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Have at least 2 years of background in training and coaching; preferably in the areas of sales or marketing.
- Education: A degree (BA/BSc/HND) in education, or any related field is considered a plus.

- Demonstrate diligence, accuracy, reliability, and a high level of dedication.
- Fluent in English and required local language.
- Possess evaluative and problem-solving skills.
- Show flexibility to travel frequently in remote areas.
- Conversant with the use of smart phones and phone applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of LMS tools is an added advantage.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and other visualization tools.
