Job Description
The role of the Receptionist at EAST - Kenya Assemblies of God University is essential for creating a welcoming and professional front office environment for students, staff, and visitors.

This role involves managing front-line communication and providing critical administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the university.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist students, staff, and visitors courteously.
Answer and direct phone calls and emails.
Provide accurate information about university departments and services.
Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes.
Handle correspondence and basic administrative tasks.
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional.
Support administrative staff when required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field (an advantage).
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
Confidentiality and reliability.
Experience
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-office role is an advantage.
Experience in an educational institution is a plus.
