Job Description
The Quality Assurance Officer role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data collected. This involves conducting rigorous real-time verification and daily batch reviews, especially concerning mobile data collection and geographical information.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct real-time field verification of data collection accuracy and methodology.
Perform daily batch review of submitted records for completeness and accuracy.
Verify GPS coordinates against zone boundaries and known locations.
Check photo quality and relevance for all captured images.
Identify and flag duplicate records for resolution.
Generate daily QA reports highlighting issues and trends.
Coordinate with Team Leaders on records requiring correction or revisit.
Maintain QA tracking database and quality metrics.
Support Technical Lead in preparing QA documentation for handover.
Train DCOs on common data quality issues and correction procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Statistics, GIS, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data quality assurance or verification.
Experience with GIS data validation preferred.
Familiarity with mobile data collection platforms.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of GPS technology and coordinate systems.
