The Data Entry Clerk role at Reeds Africa Consult is crucial for managing and maintaining the central database by accurately processing field-collected data. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring data quality, standardization, and archival procedures, providing essential administrative and technical support to the Technical Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and upload field-collected data to central database
- Perform data cleaning and standardization tasks
- Assist QA Officers with batch data verification
- Update and maintain records based on QA feedback
- Generate daily data processing reports
- Support database backup and archival procedures
- Prepare data exports for County handover packages
- Maintain data entry logs and processing documentation
- Flag data anomalies for Technical Lead review
- Provide administrative support to Technical team as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in IT, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or data processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database applications
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy
- Basic understanding of GIS data preferred
- Experience with ODK/KoboCollect data processing a plus
