Role Overview
Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst/Trainer to join our ICT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through rigorous testing methodologies and providing technical training to users and staff to optimize system adoption and performance.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Implement and oversee the entire Quality Assurance process within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Manage the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, execution, and reporting.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Identify, document, and track software defects and manage their resolution process.
Design and deliver training programs for staff and stakeholders on new and existing software systems.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure software meets functional requirements and user expectations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst within a software development environment.
Methodologies: Strong proficiency in QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect management.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
