Property Consultant Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Property Consultant responsible for generating and closing sales through active outbound prospecting. You will own the full sales cycle, from cold outreach and initial client engagement to negotiation, deal closure, and subsequent after-sales support. This is a pure hunter sales role for someone highly motivated by achieving numerical targets, executing fast follow-ups, and securing deal closures.
Performance for this role will be measured through OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) focusing specifically on deals closed, the quality of the sales pipeline, adherence to CRM discipline (with a preference for Zoho experience), and overall revenue growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify, engage, and qualify new leads through strategic partnerships, cold calling, networking, referrals, digital leads, and outbound campaigns.
- Utilize Zoho CRM to effectively manage lead stages and track all related activities.
- Research target segments thoroughly and tailor outreach strategies based on specific client needs and motivations.
2. Needs Analysis & Consultative Selling
- Conduct client discovery calls to accurately understand property needs, financial capability, urgency, and specific preferences.
- Apply principles of customer psychology to successfully build rapport, proactively overcome objections, and guide clients toward conversion.
- Deliver tailored property recommendations and optimal investment options.
3. Property Showcasing & Presentations
- Organize and conduct virtual or physical property tours for potential clients.
- Provide clients with compelling sales presentations and professional pitch decks.
- Clearly communicate property features, detailed value propositions, and potential Return on Investment (ROI).
4. Deal Closing & Negotiation
- Lead the entire negotiation process between clients and Green Heart Kilifi.
- Drive urgency in client decision-making while consistently maintaining trust and relationship integrity.
- Professionally handle all required documentation, offers, and counteroffers.
5. CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain 100% CRM hygiene in Zoho: ensuring every client interaction, follow-up, and movement is accurately logged.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline with updated lead statuses, expected close dates, and accurate revenue potential forecasts.
- Generate and review weekly reports necessary for sales forecasting and performance review.
6. Post-Sale Follow-Up
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely post-sale communication.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional property investment opportunities.
- Request referrals and testimonials from satisfied clients where appropriate.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in property sales, real estate, or lifestyle selling.
- Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Skills: CRM experience (preferably Zoho) is mandatory.
- Behavioral Understanding: Strong understanding of customer psychology, decision-making behavior, and value-based selling methodologies.
- Core Competencies: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
