Job Description
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and managing the local procurement of products and services at the right price, at the right time, and of the right quality. The role involves ensuring full compliance with global laws, regulations, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, alongside managing logistics and supply chain coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing and managing the local procurement of products and services at the right price, time, and quality.
Ensuring compliance with all global laws, regulations, and ESG standards.
Assisting with the customs clearance of goods.
Managing and preparing daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Maintaining knowledge of global shipping and transit times.
Coordinating logistics and supply chain activities to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain or an equivalent qualification.
Committed ethical stance.
In-depth knowledge and experience in ERP or MRP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work creatively, independently, and as part of a team.
Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
