The MSVL Group is a leading provider of recruitment, HR consulting, and corporate training services, with over 10 years of experience across Africa, India, and the Middle East. They are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Head. This senior leadership role is crucial for defining and executing group-wide procurement and category strategies, driving significant cost optimization, and leading digital transformation within the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute group-wide procurement and category strategies.
- Lead sourcing across raw materials, packaging, indirects, services, and Capex.
- Drive cost savings, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization, and spend analytics.
- Build and manage high-performing local and international supplier ecosystems.
- Lead supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and innovation initiatives.
- Strengthen procurement governance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contracts, and audit readiness.
- Lead digital procurement transformation and data discipline.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, R&D, and Logistics teams.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance procurement team across sites.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- MBA/Master's degree is preferred.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) / CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Experience:
- 12-15 years of procurement/sourcing experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong background in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or manufacturing procurement is essential.
- Multi-site or regional procurement exposure preferred.
Skills:
- Proven track record in cost reduction and digital procurement transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, analytics, and procurement governance frameworks.
