Job Description
PrideInn Hotels, Resorts & Camp is a prominent and rapidly growing hospitality brand with a strong Kenyan heritage. We are currently looking for a Pool Attendant to join our team in Mombasa. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and safety of our swimming facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and mechanical operation while providing a safe environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance: Carry out general swimming pool maintenance, including monitoring water levels, pumps, and overall pool conditions.
Technical Checks: Conduct routine checks on swimming pool installations and related plumbing systems.
Efficiency: Monitor water usage and ensure efficient operation of pool systems.
Organization: Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tools, equipment, and work areas.
Team Support: Support the engineering team and assist other artisans with maintenance tasks when required.
Safety Compliance: Ensure high standards of safety, workmanship, and compliance with fire and safety procedures.
Emergency Response: Assist in safety programs and emergency response procedures.
Key Requirements
Certification: Valid Lifeguard Certificate with knowledge of basic lifesaving and pool safety procedures.
Technical Knowledge: Professional certification or background in Operations or Water Treatment, with basic knowledge of health and safety standards.
Pool Systems: Basic knowledge of swimming pool maintenance, pumps, filtration systems, and water treatment.
Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to safety standards.
Professionalism: Good personal grooming, punctuality, and professional conduct.
