Payroll Specialist

The opportunity is for a skilled Part-Time International Assignee (IA) Payroll Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver a responsive, accurate, and fully compliant payroll service for approximately 150 international assignees located across the globe. A crucial aspect of the role involves managing a significant number of US payroll employees, which requires strict adherence to IRS legislative and reporting standards.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including People & Culture, Finance, and Treasury, as well as external providers, to ensure that payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with all global compliance requirements.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Payroll qualification or CIPP membership.
• Hold a BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Strong numeracy, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven experience in performing control account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to effectively manage time-sensitive payroll cycles, particularly under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercising sound professional judgement.

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• US payroll experience, ideally demonstrating proficiency with ADP.
• Experience in managing international or expatriate payrolls.
• Knowledge of US federal rules pertaining to compensation and benefits.
