Safal Group is seeking an Operator to manage and maintain production machinery. The Operator is responsible for the optimal performance and quality output of machines within the manufacturing environment, ensuring that all production procedures run smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure they are in proper working order.
Performance Testing: Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during production.
Maintenance: Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift; ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
Data Entry: Feed technical information such as speed, shapes, and sizes through the machine setup box.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running and troubleshoot any problems that arise during operation.
Quality Assurance: Perform random tests and periodic checks on output to ensure that machines are producing high-quality products.
Safety Checks: Perform safety checks on every machine to maintain a safe working environment.
Stock Management: Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
Reporting: Create and maintain activity logs and provide relevant progress information to supervisors.
Requirements
Education: Minimum academic qualification of a Grade Test 3 Certificate (KCSE level).
Experience: At least 2 years of general work experience, with 2 years specifically in a machine operator role.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Construction industries is required.
