The position involves managing daily office activities, leading multiple sales teams, and ensuring that branch goals and targets are met while maintaining high operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Leadership: Carrying out opening duties by heading team briefs and assigning employees their tasks for the day.
Staff Management: Supervising and managing staff at the branch level to ensure performance targets are consistently met.
Operations Oversight: Managing office operations such as rent payments, permits, petty cash, and any other branch-related payments.
Training & Coaching: Training and coaching new staff to ensure a thorough understanding of company products and services.
Performance Monitoring: Overseeing and monitoring the performance of staff loan portfolios.
Risk Management: Analyzing the market and advising on risks and mitigation strategies.
Market Assessment: Assessing local market conditions and identifying current and prospective business opportunities.
Goal Achievement: Ensuring branch goals and targets are met through strategic oversight.
Community Marketing: Marketing the branch within the local community to attract new business.
Financial Reconciliation: Carrying out closing duties by reconciling daily collections and disbursements, ensuring they are captured correctly on the system.
Business Development: Traveling across the designated area to drive growth and business development.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other business-related course.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership roles, specifically from the microfinance or microcredit industry.
Sales Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple sales teams and deliver measurable results.
Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure.
