Role Overview
The Operations Customer Expert is responsible for providing professional customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism. This role involves communicating with customers through various channels and managing database records.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a positive, friendly, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Communicate with customers through various channels.
Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints.
Gain deep knowledge of products to respond to customer inquiries efficiently.
Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
Manage database records and draft status reports on customer service issues.
Perform data entry and research as required to troubleshoot customer problems.
Job Requirements
Residency: Applicants must be currently residing in Mombasa.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in Customer Service.
Education: Degree or Diploma in any related field.
Typing Skills: Typing speed of 40WPM with accuracy of 90% and above.
Language: C1 English proficiency and excellent grammar skills.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of IT programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and fast typing skills.
Soft Skills: Great people skills, proactive personality, and self-motivator.
Learning Ability: Quick learner with the ability to absorb extensive information on brand history and product offerings.
Efficiency: Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, great phone etiquette, and elevated speech.
Flexibility: Must be flexible to work in shifts, including both day and night hours.
