Modern Trade Project Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of General Trade (GT) or Modern Trade (MT) projects across multiple regions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and retail partners to ensure campaign success.
• Supervise field teams, merchandisers, and promoters.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide weekly reports, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and trade channel standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, FMCG sales, or retail promotions.
• BA/BSc/HND degree in Marketing, Sales, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage field operations, teams, and client expectations.
• Strong understanding of General Trade (wholesalers, kiosks, independent retailers) and/or Modern Trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, key accounts).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business development tools.
