Communications Consultancy Pool

Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) is establishing a pool of specialized consultants to support its global offices with specialized technical and creative services. LAW is a unique non-profit network and think tank of human rights lawyers who provide creative legal assistance to individuals and communities who have suffered from human rights violations and abuses in fragile and conflict-affected areas. Selected consultants will be contacted on an as-needed basis to support various initiatives.\n\n### Key Pillars of Work\n\n#### 1. Document and Report Design\n- Transform lengthy legal reports, briefing notes, and annual reviews into visually engaging, brand-compliant layouts.\n- Design data visualizations and infographics to simplify complex legal and institutional statistics.\n- Develop digital and print-ready templates for internal and external use.\n\n#### 2. Audiovisual Production (Video & Photography)\n- Scripting, filming, and editing short-form social media content, interview-style features, and mini-documentaries.\n- Capturing high-quality portraits, event coverage, and field-based imagery while adhering to strict protection and anonymity protocols.\n- Subtitling, motion graphics, and sound editing for multi-lingual outputs.\n- Production of short animated clips to make complex legal concepts accessible for non-specialized audiences.\n\n#### 3. Events and Digital Communications\n- Provide creative direction for high-level advocacy events, webinars, and exhibition launches.\n- Develop digital coverage and social media campaigns.\n\n### Candidate Profile\n- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in communications, graphic design, or multimedia production, preferably within the humanitarian or legal sectors.\n- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop) or equivalent professional tools.\n- Proven understanding of protection-centered communication, including ethical considerations for documenting survivors of human rights abuses.\n- Fluency in English is required.\n- BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Legal Action Worldwide career portal on BambooHR.
