Mogo Finance is seeking a Logbook Collection Agent to manage the retrieval and transfer of vehicle logbooks for loans issued through dealers and distributors. This role is central to ensuring that legal documentation for vehicle financing is secured and updated correctly on official government systems.
Responsibilities
Collect all logbooks for loans issued from Dealers and distributors.
Update the transfer status of all collected logbooks and field data.
Assist in the collection and follow-up of urgent logbook cases.
Handle TIMS (Transport Integrated Management System) portal tasks, including accepting or rejecting ownership transfers and resolving complications.
Request direct transfers of logbooks as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all accepted logbooks and update internal databases.
Manage office administrative tasks such as filing, printing, and record-keeping.
Coordinate with distributors and dealers regarding unsuccessful transfers for resubmission.
Visit and hold meetings with dealers and distributors to maintain relationships and streamline processes.
Generate and submit all required activity reports.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
At least two years of relevant experience in document management, collections, or a similar field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent computer proficiency.
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.
Fluent in English and Swahili.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
