The LMP Crew Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of fluid systems and managing day-to-day warehouse and laboratory operations. This role involves basic laboratory testing, logistical coordination, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support Baker Hughes oilfield service operations.
Responsibilities
Manufacturing and Testing: Oversee the manufacturing of fluid systems and complete basic laboratory fluid testing.
Logistics and Material Handling: Facilitate the receipt, loading, unloading, and movement of stock materials by forklift to support business activities.
Shipment Preparation: Prepare shipments to be dispatched to field locations or customer sites.
Documentation: Update and monitor documentation to record transactions and maintain accurate stock inventory levels.
Cross-functional Communication: Communicate with cross-functional teams to provide information and updates on excess inventory and product availability.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain stores equipment and perform regular cleanup of warehouses to identify and correct inventory inaccuracies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a BA/BSc/HND in a relevant technical field is preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of basic chemical blending processes and a proven initiative in increasing knowledge of products and equipment.
Safety: Thorough knowledge of all safety policies and procedures.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems and implement effective improvements.
Physical Ability: Ability to work in a physical environment, involving lifting and moving of products.
Teamwork: Strong team player with collaborative skills.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evening shifts and overtime at weekends or holidays as required.
