Job Description

Crawford International School, located in the state-of-the-art facilities in Tatu City, Nairobi, is seeking a Laboratory Technician Intern. We are a leader in progressive and high-end private education, and we are looking for a motivated individual to support our science department.

The role involves providing essential technical support to ensure the smooth running of science practicals and maintaining a safe, organized laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing materials, chemicals, and equipment for science practical lessons.
Support the science faculty in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Assist in managing the chemical inventory and ensuring all laboratory supplies are correctly stored.
Adhere to and enforce strict laboratory safety protocols and health regulations.
Provide hands-on assistance to students and teachers during practical sessions.
Maintain cleanliness and order within the laboratory and preparation rooms.

Requirements

Must have a Diploma or higher in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols.
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and chemical inventory management.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
