The Inspector III (Civil/Structural) is a technical role within the County Government of Bomet, responsible for supporting civil and structural engineering projects. The officer will work on preliminary designs, interpretation of architectural concepts into engineering drawings, and the management of project documentation to ensure technical accuracy and project continuity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing preliminary engineering drawings.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings in relation to the architect’s sketches and incorporating these details into the preliminary drawings.
Maintaining accurate project documentation including drawings, reports, and correspondences.
Requirements for Appointment
For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
Be in possession of a Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Building Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or its equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
Be computer literate.
