The Embu County Government is seeking to recruit two (2) Inspectors (Building). The role entails technical oversight, interpretation of architectural and engineering designs, and the inspection of building works to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interpreting Architectural and Engineering drawings.
Checking and supervising minor repairs and alterations of existing buildings.
Monitoring construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and safety protocols.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications (Computer Literate).
