The Assistant Engineer II (Structural) is a technical role within the Embu County Government focused on the design and supervision of civil and structural engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are technically sound and meet required engineering standards. Responsibilities include designing civil and structural works for simple projects, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and supervising construction sites to ensure adherence to structural designs and safety standards. Requirements for the role include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution and registration by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to public service integrity and ethics as outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya. Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide original academic and professional certificates, a National ID, and current Chapter Six clearance documents from the EACC, KRA, HELB, CRB, and DCI.
