11 Degrees Consulting Limited is a renowned consulting firm based in Kenya, known for its innovative solutions and client-centric approach. We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead our HR operations and oversee end-to-end HR functions across multiple sites.
Role Overview
The Human Resource Manager will ensure statutory and policy compliance, manage employee and industrial relations, and lead a geographically distributed HR team. This role is critical for maintaining consistent execution of HR standards and supporting organizational growth through strategic workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee end-to-end HR operations across all sites including contracts, onboarding/offboarding, records, and leave management.
Ensure statutory and policy compliance and develop/improve HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows.
Maintain strong documentation and audit trails for all HR activities.
Employee & Industrial Relations
Manage employee and industrial relations matters, guiding managers on labour laws and best practices.
Drive grievance resolution and support legal/compliance processes where disputes escalate.
Proactively advise leadership on legislative changes and their implications.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and coordinate a geographically distributed HR team, setting priorities and monitoring service delivery standards.
Coach and develop HR staff to ensure accountability and consistent execution across all sites.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
Provide structured HR operational updates to the Director and partner with departmental heads on workforce needs.
