Job Description
APA Life Assurance Company Ltd, a member of the Apollo Group, is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager – Training and Agency Services Operations. This role is responsible for the design and delivery of high-impact learning programs to enhance the performance and compliance of our sales force.
Key Primary Responsibilities
Learning Design & Delivery: Design and deliver structured learning programs for Individual Life sales channels, covering soft skills such as sales effectiveness, negotiation, productivity, and leadership.
Product Knowledge: Facilitate comprehensive training on products including Wealth Builder, Endowment, Risk, Pension, and other solutions.
Compliance & Regulatory Training: Ensure all sales agents and staff are trained on necessary compliance and regulatory updates.
Onboarding: Lead the onboarding and initial training for new Financial Advisors to ensure a smooth transition into the sales force.
ToT Programs: Implement Training of Trainers (ToT) programs for regional sales leadership.
Strategic Alignment: Partner with Sales Leadership to identify performance gaps and align training interventions accordingly.
Leadership Development: Oversee leadership development initiatives for Sales Managers.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, IT, or a related field.
Professional progress in insurance certifications such as ACII, IIK, LOMA, LIMRA, or equivalent.
Mandatory experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Demonstrated experience in data analytics and reporting.
Experience
Minimum 7–8 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 3 years specifically in Learning & Development within the insurance or financial services industry.
Prior experience supervising staff at a junior management level.
Experience in Intermediary or Agency Administration is highly desirable.
