The HR Intern position is designed to support the Human Resources department across various critical functions, including recruitment, employee records management, attendance tracking, onboarding, and welfare management. This role provides an ideal opportunity for the intern to gain practical experience in core HR practices while significantly contributing to the smooth functioning of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendance Management: Coordinate reporting times and general attendance of the workforce.
- Employee Welfare: Support the management of employee welfare by coordinating leaves and off-days.
- Recruitment Support: Assist the recruitment process through the scheduling of interviews for vacant positions as guided.
- Onboarding: Guide the onboarding of new hires by collecting necessary documentation compliant with outlined procedures.
- Records Management: Uphold safe and confidential maintenance of employee records, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
- Disciplinary Coordination: Coordinate the timely and effective management of disciplinary issues reported within the workplace and ensure their resolution.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of HR issues, such as disciplinary meeting minutes and general meeting records.
- Communication: Make accurate and efficient communications regarding HR issues within the organization.
- Compliance: Help monitor compliance with labor laws and advise on areas for improvement.
- Training & Induction: Assist in the coordination of trainings, briefings, and workplace inductions.
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for site-level HR-related queries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and outlines.
- IT proficient (proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
