Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports and management accounts to the Board of Directors.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage financial controls, risk management processes, and internal audit functions.
• Monitor investment performance and provide financial analysis on real estate, marketable securities, and private equity portfolios.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory deductions.
• Lead and supervise the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to support business growth and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA(K) qualification or equivalent professional certification.
• Must be a member of ICPAK in good standing.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Prior experience in real estate investments, marketable securities, or private equity is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and investment accounting.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information with integrity.
