Job Description
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will deputise the Head of Finance (HOF) and ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures across the Society. The role demands effective co-ordination of financial and accounting processes, the development and evaluation of financial policies, procedures and control systems, as well as oversight of budgeting, cash flow, and the overall management of the Society's financial resources. Candidates with proven experience in the financial services sector are particularly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Deputise the Head of Finance (HOF) in daily operations.
Ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures across the Society.
Coordinate financial and accounting processes effectively.
Develop and evaluate financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
Oversee budgeting and cash flow management.
Manage the Society's financial resources to ensure long-term stability.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, or similar).
Proven experience in the financial services sector is highly encouraged.
Demonstrated expertise in financial policy development and implementation.
Strong understanding of internal control systems and budgeting processes.
