BIMAS Kenya Limited, a leading microfinance institution in the country, seeks to recruit capable and result-oriented individuals to fill the position of Direct Sales Representative.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Sourcing prospective customer leads from various sources.
Product Presentation: Explaining the features of the various BIMAS Kenya Limited products to prospective customers in line with product features and treating customers fairly.
Client Onboarding: Guiding customers on how to fill in applications for the respective product the customer would like to purchase.
Document Review: Reviewing the application and documentation provided by the customer to confirm accuracy.
Customer Verification: Authentication of customer details by checking the original copies against photocopies of documents provided, e.g., National ID and passports.
Application Submission: Forwarding completed applications to the relevant Branch Manager and/or loan officer.
Cross-Selling: Prospecting customers for any other products suitable to their needs.
Document Custody: Ensuring safe custody of customer documents under their care.
Feedback Management: Forwarding customer feedback or complaints received to the respective Branch Manager.
Market Intelligence: Sharing market information from the field with the leadership to improve products.
Reporting: Providing regular sales reports as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
Hold a Diploma in a relevant business-related course.
Have a minimum of C plain at KCSE.
At least 1 year of experience in sales or a related internship.
Have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
Have a passion and commitment to quality service.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Can meet stringent targets within defined deadlines.
