Yellow Pages Kenya is a full-service digital agency providing print, online and digital services. We are looking for a result-oriented Debt Collector to join our team on a commission basis. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in loan recovery, particularly within microfinance or money-lending environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on overdue accounts, negotiating repayments, and driving overall recovery performance to meet organizational targets. This is a commission-based role, offering high earning potential for results-oriented professionals.
Responsibilities
Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate viable repayment arrangements with debtors.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all collection activities and client interactions.
Resolve payment issues and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
Work closely with internal teams to align on recovery targets and performance metrics.
Requirements and Qualifications
BA/BSc/HND qualification.
2–3 years’ proven experience in debt collection, credit control, customer service, or a related role.
Experience working within microfinance institutions, money lending companies, SACCOs, fintech lenders, or collections environments is a strong advantage.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
