This role is for a Tele-Collections Intern at Edenbridge Capital Limited, a non-bank financial services company in Kenya. The intern will be responsible for managing debt collection processes and maintaining professional client relationships while ensuring high levels of accuracy in data management.
Responsibilities
Contacting clients via telephone regarding outstanding payments.
Managing debt collection processes with a professional phone presence.
Working both independently and as part of a team to achieve collection targets.
Handling confidential information with high integrity.
Maintaining accurate record-keeping and high attention to detail.
Applying customer service principles to interactions to maintain positive company-client relationships.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional phone presence.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of debt collection processes and customer service principles.
High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Prior experience in customer service, call center, or debt collections is an added advantage.
