The Customer Product Advisor is responsible for marketing and selling Bancassurance products to internal customers and other suitable prospects through direct approach and referrals. The primary purpose of this role is to implement the Bancassurance sales strategy and marketing initiatives to sustain portfolio growth and achieve specific sales and income targets. The advisor also supports application processing, manages service provider delivery, and provides training to bank staff on insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing: Proactively market and sell Bancassurance products to internal clients and prospects through direct engagement and referral networks.
Strategy Implementation: Execute marketing initiatives and sales strategies aimed at achieving defined income targets and growing the portfolio.
Administrative Support: Assist with the completion and processing of insurance applications and monitor the administration of service delivery by providers.
Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and retention.
Staff Training: Provide comprehensive product and process training to relevant customer-contact staff across all business units and branches.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably in B.Com Insurance, Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
Professional Certification: Minimum Certificate of Proficiency (COP) requirement. A Diploma in Insurance is highly preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in Business Development, with a strong preference for candidates from the insurance industry.
