PZ Cussons is a dynamic consumer products group, creator of some of the world's best-loved and most trusted brands. We are seeking a Customer Development Executive to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring brand visibility, and managing sales objectives within their assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Achieve agreed business objectives and KPIs for the territory, including Sell-out, Focus Brands, New Product Development (NPD) listing, Point of Purchase (POP) deployment, and promotions.
Implement outlet coverage strategy in the assigned territory, enlisting and keeping an updated database of relevant outlets.
Achieve sales driver objectives for the territory, specifically focusing on Quality, Distribution, Visibility, and Price/promotion.
Manage and review the daily activities of the Secondary Sales Force in the assigned territory.
Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager to develop Joint Business Plans for customers and assigned territories.
Monitor and manage the execution of all promotional, launch, and agency activities in the assigned territory.
Lead market intelligence gathering and competitor activity monitoring, reporting findings in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND degree.
Experience or strong understanding of FMCG sales drivers (Distribution, Visibility, etc.).
Proven ability to manage sales territories and supervise sales teams.
Strong analytical skills for market intelligence and competitor monitoring.
