JVC International is seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to lead its business development efforts within the plastic packaging sector across African markets. The role involves developing and executing strategic sales growth plans to achieve company targets, market expansion, and sustained profitability in a highly competitive commercial environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior management within the plastics packaging industry, specifically handling primary, industrial, and tertiary packaging solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall sales growth plan within assigned markets in alignment with the business strategy.
Achieve company sales targets, growth, and profitability objectives.
Lead business development initiatives in a highly competitive commercial environment.
Manage market activities specifically for the Plastic Packaging sector.
Oversee sales and distribution of Primary Packaging (Thin wall Containers - Printed or IML), Industrial Packaging (Crates for Beverages, Breweries, and Agriculture), and Tertiary Packaging (Stretch film).
Focus on the growth and management of returnable crates markets.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.
General Experience: Over 20 years of experience in Sales Management & Business Development in a highly competitive commercial environment, specifically in a Senior Sales management position.
Sector-Specific Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role within a Plastics packaging company working in the African markets.
Primary Packaging: Thin wall Containers (Printed or IML).
Industrial Packaging: Crates (Beverages, Breweries, and Agricultural produce).
Tertiary Packaging: Stretch film.
Returnable crates (Highly Essential).
