Job Description
Our client is hiring an experienced Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team and maintain high culinary standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, and supervising junior staff to deliver excellent service.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of a designated kitchen station.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Manage portion control and food costing to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Handle à la carte service efficiently, especially during high-pressure peak periods.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior chefs and kitchen staff.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout the station.
Collaborate with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, portion control, and costing.
Proven experience handling à la carte service.
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities within a kitchen setting.
Ability to perform under pressure during busy service hours.
