Victory Farms is looking for reliable and detail-oriented Branch Assistants to handle stock management, support sales operations, and maintain branch cleanliness. This role involves receiving and verifying stock, updating inventory records, assisting with order fulfillment, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Receive Stock: Receive incoming stock deliveries, verify quantities, and ensure accurate documentation. Collaborate with the Regional Supervisor to conduct thorough inspections of received goods, checking for quality and compliance with established standards.
Calculate Inventory Variances: Assist in managing inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and report any significant variances to the Regional Supervisor.
Branch Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and order of the branch is maintained at a high standard. Regularly clean and arrange the branch, including rotogals, drums, crates, displays and weighing scales to create a clean, fresh, and customer-friendly environment.
Order Fulfillment: Weigh fish for client orders accurately upon request from the Branch Captain. Provide efficient service to the Branch Sales Team, enabling them to serve customers in a timely manner.
Payment Verification: Verify payments for the fish measured as per orders placed by the sales team and record on separate sheets.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels and any other operational issues encountered. Communicate relevant information to the Regional Supervisor and collaborate on implementing solutions.
Collaboration and Communication: Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and maintain transparent communication with the sales team to ensure a seamless flow of operations.
Adherence to Health Standards: Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure all operational activities adhere to company policies and procedures.
Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by the Sales Manager or Regional Supervisor to support the functioning of the branch.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma; a certificate in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
At least 1 year of proven experience in sales and marketing roles.
Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Strong ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management tools.
