Woodcreek School is a British IGCSE system institution situated on an 11-acre campus along Kamiti road adjacent to Tatu City, in Kiambu county. We are seeking experienced and committed individuals to join our team as Biology and Chemistry Teachers for Key Stages 3 to 5. The ideal candidate will guarantee the best education for our students within our purpose-built premises and excellent facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver high-quality instruction in Biology and Chemistry to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (KS3-5).
Implement the British National Curriculum and Cambridge Curriculum effectively.
Contribute to the school’s pastoral care and extra-curricular programs.
Collaborate with team members to support the development of a futuristic school environment.
Engage in continuous professional development as a life-long learner.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students while prioritizing child safeguarding.
Utilize digital literacy to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience specifically in the British National Curriculum.
Current Role: Must be currently teaching in a Cambridge Curriculum International School.
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor of Education in Science).
Certification: Must be a TSC (Teachers Service Commission) Certified Teacher.
Skills: Digitally literate, passionate about child safeguarding, and a committed team player.
Commitment: Willingness to participate fully in pastoral and extra-curricular activities.
