The County Government of Lamu is seeking an Assistant Engineer II (Roads) to contribute to the planning, design, and oversight of road infrastructure projects within the county. This role involves ensuring that road construction and maintenance activities meet the prescribed engineering standards and safety regulations to enhance the county's transportation network.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate must:
Be a Kenyan citizen (National Identity card/Passport).
Have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
Have Registration by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.
Have a current valid annual license from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya.
Have Corporate Membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
Have a Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
