Job Description
Stellar Human Resource Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Chef to support kitchen operations in a professional culinary environment. The role involves preparing and cooking a variety of meals while adhering to strict quality and presentation standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background, excellent coordination skills, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced setting across varying shifts.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality meals according to established presentation standards.
Support daily kitchen operations, including coordination of food preparation and general kitchen workflow.
Manage stock handling and ensure the efficient organization of kitchen resources.
Package customer orders accurately and organize efficient delivery schedules.
Maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Adapt to a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of practical experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or professional kitchen setup.
Proven hospitality background with a clear understanding of kitchen service standards.
Demonstrated experience in kitchen support roles, including stock management and food preparation.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and sanitization protocols.
