As an Actuarial Manager, your work will be primarily project-based, allowing you to collaborate with diverse team members and subject matter experts. You will gain technical knowledge and experience while managing key actuarial engagements for life and non-life insurers.
Key Responsibilities
Managing IFRS 17 and Solvency Assessment and Management (SAM) actuarial audits for life or non-life insurers.
Supporting the Statutory Actuary/Head of Actuarial Function (HAF) and managing HAF engagements for life or non-life insurers and reinsurers.
Managing and supporting engagements covering Transformation, Climate Change, ERM frameworks, ORSA, Risk Appetite, and other relevant topics.
Managing value-adding projects covering IFRS 17 implementation and trends in the actuarial field.
Further developing the team by coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
Continually learning and sharing your knowledge with the wider actuarial team.
Requirements and Qualifications
4+ years of experience in the Life or Non-Life Insurance industry.
Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary status.
Demonstrated managerial experience.
BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Experience in financial reporting (SAM/Solvency II and IFRS) is highly preferred.
Consulting experience is considered an advantage.
Strong self-management and a structured approach to work.
Team-oriented, proactive, and a self-starter.
Critical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.
A curious mindset and a keenness to learn.
