Career Options Africa Ltd is seeking an Account Assistant to support its finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing daily and monthly accounting procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. This role involves managing financial records, handling statutory obligations, and overseeing debt collection and inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Procedures: Perform daily and monthly accounts procedures to maintain accurate financial records.
Debt Collection: Collect outstanding debts and resolve any associated issues or queries efficiently.
Statutory Compliance: Prepare and submit statutory deductions including PAYE, SHA, VAT, NITA, and NSSF to the respective authorities within set deadlines.
Reconciliation: Conduct monthly accounts reconciliation to ensure consistency between statements and internal ledgers.
Financial Reporting: Assist in analyzing financial information and preparing final statements.
Inventory Management: Manage and oversee company inventory levels.
Requirements and Qualifications
Professional Qualification: Must have attained at least CPA Part 2.
Education: A minimum of Grade C+ in KCSE.
Experience: One year of experience in accounting is considered an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Excel is required.
Age Limit: Candidates must be 28 years old or below.
