Maseno University is seeking a Yard Attendant to support its operations on a short-term basis. This role is primarily focused on the upkeep, organization, and maintenance of university grounds and agricultural facilities. The position is ideal for individuals capable of physical labor and interested in supporting a large academic institution's outdoor environment.
Terms of Service
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract
Duration: Non-renewable for a maximum period of six (6) months.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the university yards and storage areas.
Support agricultural and agro-allied activities as directed by the department.
Perform general manual labor tasks to ensure the grounds are well-kept.
Ensure the safe handling and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
Adhere to all university safety and operational standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must provide an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Possession of all relevant academic and professional certificates.
Submission of all academic transcripts (where applicable).
