About the Role
The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment in line with technical drawings and safety standards to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Cut, shape, and weld metal components using appropriate welding methods (MIG, TIG, Arc).
Fabricate and repair machinery, equipment, and structural components.
Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Always adhere to health and safety and Biosecurity regulations.
Report defects and recommend corrective action.
Candidate Profile (Requirements)
Certificate or Diploma in Welding / Fabrication or related field.
Valid welding certification preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years' relevant experience.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
