Role Overview\nOrchid HR Outsourcing is seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse and inventory activities. The role is responsible for managing raw materials, finished goods, consumables, and dispatch operations. The successful candidate will implement inventory control procedures, lead operational teams, and ensure seamless coordination between procurement, production, logistics, and finance departments.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Oversee day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations including raw materials, finished goods, consumables, and dispatch.\n- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.\n- Supervise stores, warehouse, dispatch, and inventory personnel to ensure operational efficiency.\n- Monitor stock movement, reorder levels, stock aging, and inventory turnover.\n- Conduct routine stock counts, cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.\n- Ensure timely receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of inventory in compliance with company procedures.\n- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, logistics, and finance departments to maintain operational continuity.\n- Ensure accurate system entries and inventory updates within ERP/WMS systems.\n- Generate inventory reports, stock movement reports, variance reports, and warehouse performance analysis.\n- Develop and implement warehouse SOPs, safety procedures, and inventory management controls.\n- Ensure proper space utilization, warehouse organization, and material handling standards.\n- Lead warehouse process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing losses, improving turnaround times, and increasing efficiency.\n- Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure timely customer deliveries.\n- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards within the warehouse.\n- Manage warehouse KPIs including stock accuracy, order fulfillment, dispatch turnaround time, and inventory losses.\n\n### Qualifications & Experience\n- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.\n- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse, stores, or inventory operations within FMCG manufacturing, packaging, paper, industrial, or production environments.\n- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role.\n- Strong understanding of inventory controls, warehouse operations, stock reconciliation, and dispatch coordination.\n- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems such as SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho Inventory, or similar platforms.\n- Experience handling large-volume inventory environments and operational teams.\n- Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail.\n- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.\n- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and operational compliance practices.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested candidates who meet the above qualifications are invited to send their Updated CV and Brief summary of relevant industry experience (FMCG, packaging, paper, manufacturing, or B2B commercial operations) to careers@orchidhr.co.ke with the subject line: “Territory Sales Manager” "Warehouse and Inventory Operations Manager"
