Job Description
The Makueni County Public Service Board is inviting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Village Administrator III (3 Posts). This role involves managing, coordinating, and supervising the general administrative functions and public services at the village level, ensuring effective service delivery and promoting active community participation.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
Be between age 30-45 years;
Hold a Diploma course in any of the following disciplines: public administration, management, social work, community development, governance, conflict management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Be a resident of the village/Sub Ward for a minimum period of five (5) years;
Have a certificate in computer applications;
Meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
Required Clearances for Shortlisted Candidates
Shortlisted candidates will be required to obtain clearance from the following institutions and produce the clearance certificates during the interview:
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI / CID)
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
