Role Overview
The County Government of Nyeri is seeking to recruit a Clerical Officer Intern. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on administrative and clerical experience in public sector management. The intern will work closely with county administrative teams to facilitate daily office operations, document management, and customer service delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties
Receive, record, file, and distribute correspondence and documents.
Maintain register files and manage office records systematically.
Undertake general clerical and administrative tasks within the department.
Prepare and draft routine letters and office documents under supervision.
Utilize computer applications for data entry and basic reporting.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a KCSE Certificate.
A Certificate in Management or Administration from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
