Pan Africa Christian (PAC) University, a Chartered Private University, is seeking to recruit TVET Trainers for its Counseling Department. The primary objective of this role is to provide competence-based training at Diploma (Level 6) and Certificate (Level 5) levels, designed to produce highly marketable graduates equipped for the competitive job market. Applicants must be born-again Christians and active members of a local Church.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction: Deliver training in specific course units in strict adherence to the curriculum and established occupational standards.
Practical Sessions: Plan, organize, and conduct practical assessments for assigned course units.
Assessment and Grading: Prepare internal assessments, mark scripts, grade students, and participate in validation and moderation processes.
Supervision: Supervise and assess trainees within the course area and during their industrial attachments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records required by TVETA, TVET CDACC, and other relevant bodies, including learning materials, session plans, training notes, and records of work.
Support: Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Coordinator or Director.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: At least two (2) years of professional experience, preferably in a TVETA-registered college.
Certification: Possession of a TVETA Training Certification.
Additional Qualifications: Trainer qualifications (preferably from KSTVET) will be an added advantage.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the tertiary training structure and Competence-Based Education and Training (CBET).
Regulatory Awareness: Exposure to TVET CDACC frameworks.
Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills.
Personal Faith: Must be a born-again Christian and an active member of a local church.
