Tutorial Fellow - Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
• Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programs of study, including new courses at various levels.
• Deliver high-quality lectures and practical laboratory sessions.
• Review course content and materials regularly, updating as required.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research activities.
• Conduct research and write research grant proposals.
• Seek and participate in consultancies.
• Present research papers at national or international conferences and similar academic events.
• Disseminate research outputs.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or as outlined in the detailed job description.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification and be progressing.
• A Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a Master of Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from an accredited University.
• A Bachelor of Technology Education (Electrical and Electronics) or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an accredited University.
• At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
• Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
• Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
